Have you ever wondered what it is like to help care for farm animals? Now you can be part of the morning routine at The Petting Farm!
Children and their families are invited to help our staff give hay, grain, and fresh water to the animals before the farm opens for the day. This hands-on experience allows young animal lovers to get up close to many of our farm animals while learning how we care for them each day.
Animal Feeding Helpers is a fun way for children to experience farm life, meet the animals, and lend a helping hand. The cost is $5 per participant and is free for Petting Farm Members.
Important Information:
At least one parent or guardian must participate with each family.
Only participants who wish to actively assist with animal care need to register.
Additional family members who would like to observe but not participate are welcome to attend at no charge.
Space is limited to 6 participants on Mondays and Fridays, reservations are required.
